Out of Hours Clinical Supervisors Full Day Induction and Half Day Update

Experienced OOH Clinical Supervisors are asked to join us for their
Half Day Update 13:30 (arrival) for prompt 13:45 start
Both sessions will end at 17:00

This session will cover the requirements set out by Health Education England working across the North East & North Cumbria for Out of Hours Clinical Supervisors working in any Out of Hours organisation within the region.

 A little bit of relevant educational theory
 Feedback theory & a chance to practice giving feedback well
The afternoon session will cover:
 GP Trainee requirements (recap OOH training requirements & eportfolio)
 Completion of documentation with opportunities to benchmark
 OOH Clinical Supervisor requirements (before, during and after roles)
 Written feedback with opportunities to benchmark
 How to address appraisal / CPD requirements
 What to do / who to contact if there are any problems
